Seasons Bay Series Collection Rare Retired Pre-Owned.  In 1998 Department 56 invited collectors to kick back, relax and take a vacation of the mind by announcing the first year round Village collection, Seasons Bay.  This is a selection of the series.  We are sorry but they will only be sold as a set.  Besides the buildings also included are 18 accessory pieces, pond and trees. (not pictured)

Buildings

Grandview Shores Hotel – First Edition – Identified by its two gold flags, gold weathervane and the first Edition decal on the bottom.  Designed to be the centerpiece of the collection it features 620 window cuts. Production 1998-1999

Bay Street Shops – First Edition – This version is identified by its gold flags, and First Edition decal on the bottom.  Set of Two includes Two buildings with three shops – Maggie’s Millinery, Book Nook and Bayside Clothiers.  All fit together to form a quaint downtown shopping area.  Clock is set at “5 till 6.”   Production 1998-1999

Side Porch Cafe – First Edition – This version is identified by the First Edition decal on the bottom and the porcelain hanging sign on the side veranda. Production 1998-1999

Inglenook Cottage #5 – First Edition – This version is identified by the First Edition decal on the bottom.  An inglenook is a cozy and secluded spot near a fireplace for one to relax.  Cottages were designed to give patrons who so desired a more private and peaceful experience. Production 1998-1999

Stillwaters Boathouse– Sailboat weathervane is very fragile. Production 1999-2002. (This item did not have a first edition)
