Mardi Gras Mask Ornament Old World Christmas. The celebration begins on Twelfth Night (January 6th) and continues to Fat Tuesday, with parades, masked balls and general revelry. What better way to enjoy this last hurrah before Lent begins on Ash Wednesday than by donning a mask and joining the party. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
- Blown Glass
- Dimensions: 3 X 3 X 2.5 (HxLxW)
Each figurative glass ornament produced by Old World Christmas is handcrafted in age-old tradition using the same techniques that originated in the 1800s. Molten glass is mouth-blown into finely carved molds made exclusively for Old World Christmas before a hot solution of liquid silver is poured inside. The ornaments are then hand-painted and glittered in a series of labor-intensive steps to achieve the beautiful creations.
