Back In Black Album Cover Ornament Old World Christmas. Back in Black was the band’s first album with Brian Johnson, who replaced late original singer Bon Scott.  It was recorded from April to May of 1980 in the Bahamas.  It took a while because tropical storms kept hitting the area, causing problems with the studio’s electricity.   The album has an all-black cover, a sign of mourning for Bon Scott.  Their label, at first, refused to do it but did after the band agreed to put a grey outline around the AC/DC logo.  The perfect gift for an AC-DC fan.

Each figurative glass ornament produced by Old World Christmas is hand crafted in age-old tradition using the same techniques that originated in the 1800’s. Molten glass is mouth-blown into finely carved molds made exclusively for Old World Christmas, before a hot solution of liquid silver is poured inside. The ornaments are then hand-painted and glittered in a series of labor-intensive steps to achieve the beautiful creations.
