North Pole Nutcracker Factory Dept. 56.  Santa’s Nutcracker Factory is a popular place.  Here all of the designs are dreamed up and made with love and care! Nutcrackers date back to at least the 17th century when they first were made in Germany. Many were carved to resemble a soldier, or a king.
