Choosing an ornament for someone else is a lovely idea and a surprisingly hard one. Collections are personal, themes are particular, and the person who has been adding to a Christmas village since the nineties knows exactly which piece is still missing. A St. Nick’s gift card hands that decision back to them, with the whole of the West’s largest Christmas store to choose from.
It suits the collector who already has everything, the couple decorating their first tree together, and the relative nobody can ever buy for. It also suits the second week of December, when the shopping days have run out and an emailed gift card still lands under the tree on time.
Amounts from $10 to $1,000
Choose $10, $25, $50, $75, $100, $125, $150, $200, $250, $300, $400, $500 or $1,000. Smaller cards make cheerful stocking stuffers, teacher gifts and secret Santa presents. Larger ones cover a pre-lit tree, a lighting upgrade for the whole house, or a serious addition to a collection.
Sent straight to them, on the day you choose
The card is emailed to the person receiving it rather than to you, so there is nothing to wrap, nothing to ship and nothing to lose in the post.
- Add a personal message of up to 500 characters, and their name, so it arrives with a special touch from you
- Your name is shown as the sender, so they know straight away who it is from
- Pick the day it arrives, any date up to a year ahead. Buy a birthday card in October and it lands on the birthday, not in October
- Buying for several people? Each card in your order gets its own amount, recipient, message and delivery date
- We ask for the recipient’s email twice, because a gift card sent to a mistyped address is a gift card gone
Cards are emailed by one of our store elves once your order is completed. If you have chosen a date, that is the day it goes out.
Spending a St. Nick’s gift card
- Enter the card number at checkout, under Have a St. Nick’s gift card?
- Spend part of it and keep the rest. Use whatever you want towards an order and the remaining balance stays on the card for next time
- More than one card can go towards the same order, which is useful when two people have given one
- Pay any remaining balance on the order however you normally would
- Check the balance any time from the Gift Cards tab of your account, or during checkout
